This Top Fuel style steering arm is made in two pieces. The cap is machined 4130 with a lip/gusset for the attachment of the arm. The arm is then machined from 4130, with a high misalignment spherical ball in the end, and a web machined into the arm itself. The arm is then welded to the cap with the two compound angles achieved at the joint, eliminating the need to bend the arm. This angle accomodates the kingpin inclination. This configuration then allows the spherical ball in the end of the arm to be 90 degrees to the ground in the neutral position.
